(The Fund).  We use a value-based investment philosophy, focusing on those securities we consider may offer the potential for outsized returns with reasonable safety of capital.  Our transactions are in publicly-traded securities; our research methods include both qualitative and quantitative analysis, extensive screening of computer databases, analysis of financial statements, publicly-available government filings, financial data vendors and analyst research, with our primary emphasis on fundamental analysis.
